Unpaved Roads
On one hot August Arizona morning of 2000, we said good-bye to our
four children and our seven grandchildren. We had no idea of the
adventures and experiences that would lie ahead of us for the next
thirteen months. We had no idea of the physical and emotional mayhem
that South East Asia could bring to us. We knew only that we wished
to challenge the idea that age was a not a detriment and that we, in
our late fifties, could tackle that most trying events and
discoveries we knew only through documentaries and books. |
