Elizabeth Scott

Elizabeth Scott is an expert at turning tradition jobs
into traveling jobs. But her live has not always been so
free-spirited. She began her adult life as a college student and
mother of two in California's wine country. Her second child was
diagnosed, at one year old, with severe brain damage. Elizabeth
left school to care for her daughter, gaining far more education than
college courses could have imparted.
She Worked full time with her daughter's special needs
and on disability advocacy; gradually phasing in her own career in
banking. The stress of those years brought on what became a
severe case of lupus. While Elizabeth was disabled and sidelined
from banking, her daughter died at the age of eight years old.
Over many years Elizabeth rebuilt her life by applying
lessons hard learned, and carving a life more true to her ideals.
As she migrated from banking to real estate sales and investment, and
then executive recruiting. She was also a television "home
expert" on NBC news in San Francisco. For seven years she has
taken work with her as she travels up to 50 percent of the time.
She now blends her career as author of Have Work Will Travel,
marketing consultant and speaker with her travels. She is
innovative as she mixes work and play, living life to the fullest.
"I am a wanderer at hear. As I explore I find
enriching experiences at every turn. These sojourns are only
partially rich, until they are shared with others and made full.
By sharing my story and how to 'have work will travel,' I hope that
the reader becomes as enriched as I am in the telling of the story"
