About The Book: February 22 2008
I awoke this morning as federal prisoner number 4563259 in the United States of America federal correctional facility in Florence, Arizona. I am in a small cement room with three beds and two Mexican nationals who don’t speak much English as cellmates. I have never been imprisoned before; much less arrested. I am a forty-year-old father of four and grandfather of three beautiful granddaughters. I have a wife to whom I've been married for 23 years. My head is spinning from the last 48 hours and I am thinking, "how in the hell did this happen?"
