About the Author: Evelyn, a retired school teacher and mother of five, two daughters and three sons, has traveled to more than 30 countries. She lived in Kenya, East Africa for seven years working as a missionary. One thing she observed about children all over the world is their resilience to bounce back after experiencing loss and grief in their family. One of ten children growing up. Evelyn lost her mother at the age of eleven. She knows first hand how to survive and be a winner, by "landing on her feet." in the midst of difficult circumstances. She now resides in Chandler, Arizona, and has been a foster Mom since 2005. |
