CHARLOTTE’S EYES
By D.J. Diebold
If you feel the
American family has lost its way,
this is the
ticket back.
As a little boy in
the 1950’s living in Chicago, you’ll share D.J.’s innermost feelings
as he discovers the cold, harsh realities of life. Fortunately, these
realities are tempered by the love of the mentor he came to idolize,
his mother. He explores his family circle in a funny, yet powerful
way. If you don't know what the closeness of family is all about, this
book is for you. You will feel it. It expresses such a solid positive
attitude in simply living day to day.
Each chapter is a
story unto itself and has a deep-rooted message for living life with
and without what people normally call "trouble". Taking one through
the ups and downs of growing up middle-class, Diebold uses a sense of
humor and heart-felt emotion to share his life and his love for his
mother and her grace. Each chapter gives a new story and a new
message; all of which can have a profound impact on life.
“D.J. writes
beautifully and vividly, while at the same time imparting a clear,
simple, yet meaningful message.” Amanda Kingsbury, Features Editor,
The East Valley /
Scottsdale Tribune.
D.J. Diebold was
born in Oak Park, Illinois, the home of Ernest Hemingway and Frank
Lloyd Wright. As a Behavioral Therapist, Author and Motivational
Speaker,
Mr. Diebold takes a
spiritual approach to life’s dynamics. “To perform at the highest
level, you’ve got to walk the walk and lead by example.” Currently,
Mr. Diebold counsels for New Arizona Family, Inc. in Phoenix as a
Behavioral Health Professional in the role of Board Certified and
State Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor. (LISAC) “If it
takes so little energy to do what we love, why do so few of us do it?”
D.J. lives in Scottsdale, Arizona.
