About the Author: Jesse is a 10 year old young man who loves to write and speak. Jesse started writing The Magic Forest as a short story in 2nd grade. In 3rd grade, he met and was inspired by the author SARK (Susan Ariel Rainbow Kennedy) at her seminar and has been wanting to write and speak to audiences ever since. Jesse was also inspired by his 3rd grade teacher. He has won awards in his school's poetry contest beginning in kindergarten. In 3rd grade, he was one of the school district's poetry finalists. He is currently in 5th grade attending a Montessori school. He has 5 animals that he loves dearly: 2 dogs Buddy and Peanut; 2 cats Benny and Simba; and a lizard, Spots. |
